Classic Fluffy Pancakes

Our Classic Fluffy Pancakes are the perfect way to start your day. **Ingredients:**

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

**Instructions:**

1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. It's okay if there are a few lumps.

4. Let the batter rest for a few minutes to allow the baking powder to activate.

5. Preheat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.

6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake, spacing them apart.

7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.

8. Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.

9. Transfer the pancakes to a plate and keep warm.

10. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter or cooking spray to the griddle as needed.

11. Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream.
