**Ingredients:**
For the Meringue Layers:

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

**Instructions:**
**Making the Meringue Layers:**
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Line three 9-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
2. In a large, clean, and dry bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
3. Gradually add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat the egg whites.
4. Add the vinegar and vanilla extract, and gently fold in the chopped walnuts.
5. Divide the meringue mixture evenly among the prepared cake pans and spread it out to form even layers.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the meringue is set and lightly golden.
7. Allow the meringue layers to cool completely in the pans.
**Preparing the Buttercream Filling:**
1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and sweetened condensed milk. Beat until smooth and well combined.
**Assembling the Kyiv Cake:**
1. Place one meringue layer on a serving plate.
2. Spread a layer of the buttercream filling over the meringue.
3. Repeat the process, layering the meringue and buttercream until all layers are used, finishing with a layer of buttercream on top.
4. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2-3 hours to allow the layers to set.
**Making the Chocolate Glaze:**
1. In a heatproof bowl, combine the chopped dark chocolate, heavy cream, and butter.
2. Melt the mixture over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
3. Allow the chocolate glaze to cool slightly.
4. Pour the chocolate glaze over the top of the chilled Kyiv Cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.
5. Refrigerate the cake for an additional 1-2 hours to set the chocolate glaze.
